Catherine M. McGee Middle School encourages children to grow and learn in an atmosphere of responsibility and respect. Welcome Dr. Scott Ratchford, McGee's New Principal.Dr. Ratchford has begun his service at McGee. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut, his graduate degree from Marist College (Poughkeepsie, NY), his sixth year certificate in administration from Southern CT State University and his Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut. Before coming to McGee Dr. Ratchford served as one of the assistant principals at Avon High School. Prior to Avon he served as an assistant principal at Conard High (West Hartford) and also as a School Psychologist at the elementary and middle levels in the West Hartford school system.
